We were travelling to Perth back from Jakarta. Direct flight, 4 hours was going to be good. Fog in Perth meant that we could not land so tried a couple times but ended up being redirected to Kalgoorlie. We were supposed to land in Perth at 1:30am, ended up landing in Kalgoorlie at 3am. We sat on the tarmac until about 10am... We finally got off the plane and were stuck in one boarding gate in Kal. Finally by 3pm we could move outside the boarding gate and had a flight to perth at 6:45 that night. We arrived in perth only 18 hours after we were supposed to arrive. In that time we had been offered a glass of water and around 7 a muffin. They ordered some pizza at lunch time. The staff of the flight were helpful, the pilot was honest and upfront and was trying to do all that he could do. It took a long time for everything outside the plane to happen. I am disappointed with how management did not seem to do enough to assist the flight crew. They knew there were issues from early in on the flight but were very slow in doing anything to solve the issues. It was a very long, uncomfortable experience that has me considering never to fly jetstar again.
