I flew from Jakarta to Perth on a Jetstar A320 last month. Apparently it was the newest type of the Jetstar range but the seat was worse. Well the space wasn't that bad, but the seat was so hard and made my backside a bit sore. The reason why I would still recommend Jetstar is because it's a direct flight to Jakarta (only 4hrs) and the price is relatively cheaper than others. If it's for travelling to other countries or cities further away I think I'd prefer another airline.
