Air Transat review by Paul 2014-08-05

Air Transat Gatwick to Vancouver 05/07/14 - we arrived early for check in and was through the dedicated check in only 10 minutes! Flight was on time and arrived early in Vancouver. We booked two x 2 seats near the back of the Airbus 330. We are all around 6 feet tall, but found as much room in economy as in any economy BA flight. The new cabin was comfortably, the personalised in flight entertainment system was excellent and the food and drink was what you would expect from any trans-Atlantic flight. The cabin crew were excellent and friendly. We got the baggage at Vancouver in good time too. Why anyone would pay substantially more to fly BA, Air Canada or Virgin is beyond me. This was my 6th flight to Vancouver, and probably the best, so I will fly Transat again in the future.
