I have travelled with many other airlines and the general incompetence of Jetstar is astonishing. The staff are also unhelpful and passive aggressive. No information or inaccurate information is provided to passengers in relation to connecting flights. On top of this, the airline provides no gluten free meals (I have a medical condition so it's not a personal choice) and refuses cash payment on flights after confiscating unopened water bottles just before boarding which were purchased past security at the airport. EDITORS COMMENT: The water bottle thing is generally an airport decision not airline (such as in Bali) and being a low cost carrier there is no expectation for them to cater for dietary requirements. The food is an optional extra and whilst frustrating for anyone with dietary needs you'll find very few low cost carriers that bother with this.
