Air New Zealand review by Peter 2015-01-12

Air NZ Perth-Auckland/ Auckland Dunedin return frequently. Staff usually pretty much seem sick & tired of passengers, very abrupt. Not a good vibe in the cabin. Some good team members though. Seats and surrounding areas on the plane always dirty & rubbish in seat cracks, parcel holders. Inflight Magazine usually missing, ripped, written on or filthy. I usually fly window seat. Dirty smudges/grubby marks on walls of plane & seats. Internal flights from Auckland to Dunedin cleaner. The WAITING LOUNGE IN AUCKLAND airport is THE WORST EVER to wait in. Like being in shoved underground in a dingy cave. Very depressing & claustrophobic, horrible. If you haven't booked a meal, the cabin staff wont take any cash or EFTPOS only credit cards. Airline should have a pre-paid card you top up before flying to purchase drinks & snacks. Positive side is that the planes are very new. Schedule times are closely followed & kept. I frequently fly from Perth to Dunedin & back. I fly with Air New Zealand because the planes are new, modern & a safe airline to travel with. The Dreamliner is very comfortable. Nice seats, TV screen & windows & quiet. Good flying experience in the cabin. (me a nervy traveller)
