I am an Indian vegetarian person who traveled in Business Class ticket of Air Mauritius Flight No. MR 748 from Mauritius to Bombay on July 7th,2016 with my wife and 2 children of age 3 yrs and 6 yrs . The flight was a 8 hour flight from 9.20pm to 5:00am and thus i reached mauritius airport at 7pm only. It is relevant to mention that after the boarding pass was issued and while we were waiting in the lounge an announcement was made for me to report at the counter and give the passenger details and our food preference pursuant to which the lounge executive confirmed and took the relevant details from me. It was shocking to note that despite paying such hefty amount of Rs.64,000 for a single business class ticket and taking prior food preference we were provided with meager or rather no food for dinner. The flight provided several options for a non vegetarian but hardly anything for a vegetarian. The entire night we starved for food but despite our request, the crew members could not help us in any way. It feels pathetic that having paid so much and having booked a Business class ticket, which normally provides variety of meal options we were provided with nothing at all.
