Overall a decent experience. Our flight from Syd to Cairns was good, except we had paid for exit row seats but did not receive them. The staff pointed this out to us and moved us to a new row where we had 3 seats to the 2 of us, and also provided us with free in flight entertainment and food, which resurrected the issue for us. On the flight home from Cairns to Syd wasn't as great. It was delayed, and the staff were agitated and unprofessional. I hardly saw a flight attendant throughout the whole trip. There was turbulence the whole time, but the staff did not at all reassure passengers, even when the seatbelt signs remained off. The whole flight seemed unprofessional, which is unusual for Jetstar as I have only ever had good experiences. Also I would not recommend purchasing the iPad for inflight entertainment. Although it was alright, there were only about 5 movies to choose from, and many people would be disappointed by the range.
