Alaska Airlines review by Nicole 2016-10-23

I thought Alaska Airlines was a reputable airline until I canceled one of my flight reservations through them, and received a credit certificate to be used towards a new flight reservation. I went through the process of entering my certificate code and PIN number and then clicked to shop for a new flight to use my certificate on. Using the mobile app, when it came time to pay there was no area to put any certificate info down so I entered in my credit card info and purchased my flight assuming the certificate info I had previously entered would be applied. But the whole price was deducted from my credit card. I called customer service trying to work something out talking with multiple customer service agents along with a manager and I had the worst customer service experience. They could do NOTHING to help me. I have dealt with many airlines and they have always been very helpful and accommodating but Alaska Airlines was very unhelpful and told me they could do nothing for me. Safe to say I'll never fly Alaska Airlines again after that horrible service.
