Cathay Pacific review by Robert 2015-01-18

I arrived in the USA yesterday from S. India; flight from Chennai to HK, then HK to LAX. [ I took the same flying out to S. India last month.] First and foremost, the staff was stellar. I want to particularly point out "K.C." ---his attentiveness and personalizing per our needs, even something as simple as an extra couple packets of peanuts, or checking [successfully] if there might be a veg. meal available on very short notice, but more important of all: his disposition: attentive as well as ready smile. His attitude and professionalism throughout: superb. The food was definitely "better than average". The space for my knees and legs was very good, especially considering I am 6 feet tall. For the nearly 12 hr non stop to LAX, that helped! The major disappointment: the seat cushion. Clearly it has accumulated lots of miles so to speak. C.P. needs to check on the seat cushions and replace; this would not be costly---and would no doubt draw more than just a few comments of satisfaction. [That said, I did not ask my neighbors how theirs were, and mine might have been the exception] All in all, I would definitely recommend to a friend or family. But I just might caution them to request an extra blanket to serve as a "cushion cover". [I was not cold so I used the one issued to me]
