KLM review by Marylin 2015-03-27

My husband and i recently flew from Amsterdam to Havana Cuba return with KLM. It was our first time travelling with this airline and having read some rather negative reviews i was a little bit worried especially since it was such a long journey. Previous reviews mentioned cramped seating , small tv screens, no legroom etc. Well we booked basic economy seats. On the outward flight we were assigned economy comfort seats which was a nice treat, little bit more leg room although not worth the 145 euro per person per flight being chargedThe entertainment screens may be a bit smaller than i have seen before but nothing that would effect your viewing or enjoyment. There was a very good selection of entertainment offered, movies , tv, music, games etc. The klm staff were all very curtious and helpful. The food was very good even my husband ate it and he is quite fussy. Hot and cold drinks were offered regularly and snacks. On our return flight we were seated in basic economy and it was perfectly ok. Still had plenty of legroom. I will say though that as mentioned in other reviews there is a metal box built into the ground under every aisle seat .. I would definately travel KLM again.
