Philippine Airlines review by Amy 2015-08-17

Had a really pleasant and good experience with PAL for my recent flight from London Heathrow to Manila. The airplane is much smaller than what I'm used to when usually travelling to the Philippines, but is still comfortable. The food was absolutely fine and I was kept full with regular meals- during the flights we were fed twice with an extra light hot-toastie type meal about an hour before landing. The air-stewards are not as active as on other flights, but if you needed any assistance they were quick and eager to help. Entertainment wise you are provided with an iPad (if you wish) in exchange for your boarding pass (for security reasons- which you get back). The iPads had a good selection of current and new films (US, UK, Filipino, Korean etc), games and music. Baggage was easy to collect and claim- no delays and flights actually arrived earlier that expected both times (about an hour before expected landing times). The flight was really smooth- pilots took us through the turbulence really smoothly. No complaints about the flight. Really recommended if you want a straight flight to the Philippines without the hassle of having to have a stop-over. Will fly with again.
