Alaska Airlines review by Catherine 2016-02-10

While waiting for departure our plane was broken and needed a new part. Yes, they did get the part, fixed it and eventually got us there, but with no compensation, free drinks, etc. More of a aren't-you-lucky-we-got-you-there attitude. Then, to top it off, they ran out of food! BOTH WAYS! I hadn't ever experienced a flight where they ran out of food, but with Alaska Air, they ran out of ALL OPTIONS, except for the little bags of pretzels. For a 5 hour flight to Hawaii, this was a big deal. The flight attendants said they only were supplied with about 50% of the food that is needed and there was nothing they could do about it.
