Had flights Hong Kong - Nadi - Honiara (once-a-week connection) - Nadi - Los Angeles. First leg was on time, with mediocre service. Second leg was delayed by 6,5 h, largely as a result of airport computer problems. Third leg never materialized and we were simply left in Guadalcanal, without assistance. Had to buy tickets to Honiara - Brisbane - Nadi, and rent a room in Brisbane, to be able to catch the LAX flight. Rerouting was possible, but Fiji Airways did not arrange it. Fourth leg was a bit late, with mediocre service. One may tolerate the less than professional staff, the endemic computer problems and the rundown Nadi airport. Nevertheless, the Fiji Airways policy of cancelling flights and leaving its customers stranded should be taken in account when making choices between airlines.
