I had my first flight with Ryanair on 31st May from Malaga to Ibiza. The tickets when I booked online costed me around 62 euros (per person, one way), which included the additional cost of check-in bag and seat allocation. On the day of travel, I arrived at the airport 2.5 hours before my flight to check-in and get my boarding pass; my flight was at 1:30pm and I was at the Ryan air counter between 11 - 11:15am. On checking my ticket, passport, etc. the lady at the counter informed me that I will have to pay an additional 53 euros as I didn't have my boarding pass printed and simultaneously wrote up a receipt of the additional cost. I was sent to the Ryanair customer service desk where the agent on that desk informed me that I could print my boarding pass for free before 11:30am (that is upto 2 hours of the flight), I quickly checked-in on my phone and had the boarding pass on my phone, all before the timeline of 2 hours, but I was still required to pay the additional 53 euros because the lady at the check-in counter had already generated the bill without informing me that I still had time to print out my boarding pass. This happened with a bunch of customers
