Delta Air Lines review by Don 2013-07-29

I travelled econ. on a 747-400 I think from Sydney to LAX then to Minneapolis and then to Winnipeg-return. Food was ok when available but on the outwards flight the meat meals went instantly leaving only a very mediocre pasta dish described as canneloni but in fact was rigatoni. Staff were great and service quite adequate. Return flight over the Pacific, I flew their Comfort Class which was a clear improvement to cattle class. Same seat but more legroom. My major complaint was that at LAX on the outward leg, I had to get from one side of the airport to the other was "managed" by Queue Managers who slowed the movement down to the point where I missed my connection. Delta will have to recalculate the time taken to make this connection.
