Travelling from Brisbane to Sydney (from London via a fortnight in Japan) we were charged $70 as one of our cases was over the domestic allowance. The other was well under. We complained as it's nonsensical to charge for the short haul flight when we'd had a larger allowance for the other flights. Nothing doing. SHOCKING. The staff member then kept us waiting for half an hour when she messed up the computer entry. No eye contact or apology throughout. Come on, VA, this is shoddy service.
