Our annual humanitarian trip to Colima, Mexico has been cancelled this January because of a government travel advisory warning against all non-essential travels to the area. All volunteers flying with other airlines were able to have their change fees waived due to the humanitarian nature of the trip. Aeromexico is the lone airline that refuses any concessions and insists on a US$215+ change fee per ticket; that amounts to over 60% of our original ticket price of US$340 and renders our family's tickets useless.
