I struggled with this airline to get my family with three young children back from Los Angeles to Amsterdam and succeeded in the end with a 32 hour delay. Original flight was cancelled for no good reason (probably mechanical failure) and after having been in line for more than two hours in order to board another flight the next day, this flight was so much delayed that we missed the connection in Paris. We had not been automatically rebooked, so we spent another 5 hours at the airport in order to catch the third available flight to Amsterdam. I found out in retrospect that we could have been easily rerouted via San Francisco. I am premium elite for life with Air France for more than 20 years, but experienced a complete lack of information or service, and I have sled only seen an airline act so incompetent. If Air France deals with their best customers in this way, I can only imagine what a casual customer will experience.
