Lufthansa review by Alvin James 2016-05-04

Three adults and a one-month old infant flying on the 29th April from Manchester UK to Cairo via Frankfurt. Economy class. LH 947/ LH584. Seats 19A,B, C on both flights ( both A321 ). Check-in well handled by an extremely kind and helpful young lady called Hannah. We checked in four pieces of luggage and one baby push-chair with car-seat. Total six pieces. Lufthansa keep their promise in that they offer priority to families when boarding, unlike most airlines. Both flights more or less on time. Small dry sandwich on LH947, but hot meal on LH584 was of a good standard. The new inflight entertainment system using passengers tablets and phones and the aircraft's wifi system works very well as long as one has downloaded the app. Seating is reasonable for a short flight but rather cramped for a long flight. Except for a blond lady on the LH584, most crew members on both flights were very good. No luggage arrived at Cairo. All passenger luggage on Lufthansa flight LH584 from Frankfurt to Cairo on the 29th April 2016 was left behind at Frankfurt, with the exception of some odd pieces of hand-luggage and pushchairs checked in at the departure gate.
