Lufthansa review by Siarhei 2016-03-05

Last year I did a trip around the world and happened to use Lufhansa for one of the flights. I had 2 way flights, Moscow-Rome-Moscow. I got stuck in Dubai during my trip and missed my first flight and when I came to Rome to fly to Moscow, I was told that my flight is canceled(I never received an email or any notification that my flight is canceled and found out about it at the airport) since I missed a first flight. Now I was told that I have to buy a new ticket. I asked a representative if I would be able to get a refund later on and he said that it shouldn't be a problem. Now I paid around $220 for round trip and then in Rome Lufthansa rep sold me ticket for THE SAME FLIGHT(same plane) for $410 for one way flight. I had an option to buy another ticket from another airline way cheaper but rep told me that most likely I will be able to get a refund so I used Lufthansa. Now during the flight, stuardess dropped a cup of Coke on my shorts, so I arrived pretty angry. After arrival back home, I emailed Lufthansa to get a portion refund for a ticket(so they keep at least $110 rate(half of $220 since it's one way), not $410).
