American used to be the best carrier in the US, but no longer. The CEO or other management types have been engaged in a "race to the bottom" with United (awful) and Delta (terrible). I am a million miler, but I no longer have any loyalty to this carrier! I now prefer to use Emirates, or other foreign carriers when travelling internationally. Too bad, I used to love this airline...
