Yesterday I was on an AirCanada flight which was extremely delayed multiple times and due to these delays I missed 2 connecting flights. I did not feel that the airline kept me informed enough for the delays and I was not compensated at all for these extreme delays. I did not expect flight compensation but I was not offered any food vouches to cover the money I spend on meals due to the delays. I was 22 hours waiting in airports for my flights so required at least 3 meals while I was waiting. The meal selection on the flight was very limited and not what was on the menu provided. The unpleasant sandwich which I had to PAY for on the flight could have been some of the compensation given. I much prefer to fly West Jet as I have not had these issues when I have had delays with them. They are very willing to provide food vouchers. Included in this review is a comment that one of my cancelled boarding passes was given to another passenger. She was boarded on the same plane with identification that did not match my boarding pass. Concern #1 my boarding pass was not cancelled when I was reissued a new one and #2 she was boarded using the wrong boarding pass. This is a huge security risk
