Etihad Airways review by Clive 2013-07-10

I used Etihad many times between 2005 - 2008 to fly from London to Bangkok (they used to fly from Gatwick which was lovely because on the first leg the plane was usually half empty and you could find a row of seats to sleep on!) for obvious reasons they centred on the awful Heathrow. I always found the planes comfortable and preferred them to Emirates the downside was Abu Dhabi stop but I understand they have a brand new terminal there now. At the time (apart from one indian line) they were by far the cheapest way to travel to and from Bangkok and I felt the level of food and service was perfectly adequate at the price. Got upgraded once and that was an experience!
