Economy Class

I give them the award for the Worst Customer Service both in-flight and ground. Let's include the Contact Centre too! Would not fly with them ever even if I get a free first class ticket! NEVER. The crew are rude, servicing the passengers is a chore, grumpy and frumpy attitude throughout the flight. 7 hours between service. The toilets were a mess within 2 hours of a 12 hour trip and the stench wafted through. The food was terrible. Their call centre staff are poorly trained and provide false information, then say "our mistake, we were confused and we can't do anything to help you even though we gave wrong info". Shame! I was told that it was going to cost me $120.50 to change my return flight, get cut off half way through transaction and then the change cost goes up to $1000 as their staff make a mistake! I plan my parents 50th anniversary party based on the lower penalty rate and now it will cost the family $4000! We'll go back to Australia now, cancel the family get together... there is no accountability, the buck stops nowhere in a govt run airline. How long will this last? I have written to them, no response Keep away from AI unless you're a sucker for punishment!
