Haven't even flown yet and already having difficulties. My friend forgot to include her middle name when booking her airline ticket. She e-mailed the e-mail at the bottom of her ticket to request a change. She was told they couldn't help her and she needed to call her local office (by 'local' it's in Toronto and we live in Halifax). She did call her local office and got no response. She e-mailed her local office - no response. Finally she contacted the US office hoping they might take pity, and they referred her to the initial e-mail address that told her they couldn't do anything! After e-mailing the initial e-mail address AGAIN, they told her they couldn't do anything because of her fare type (but this wasn't a problem before?) even though it clearly stated in her type that they could make changes. E-mailing again the US office to see if they will intervene - they're advice "ask to talk to the supervisor". Long story short have had to book an entire new ticket out of necessity, but overall she said it was the worst customer service experience she has ever had, and has now had to pay double for a ticket that they probably wouldn't have even noticed the error on in the first place.
