I had a trip planned from Boston to Charlottesville with a connection at LGA. Due to delays from LGA my flight was 45 mins delayed causing me to miss my connection. The next flight to Charlottesville was at 7pm the following night, which was too late, as I had to be in Charlottesville by 12pm the following day. As you can imagine, I was frustrated and sad to miss a huge family event. In addition I was stuck in nyc alone at 1030pm. Delta refused to set me up in hotel and then charged me $250 for a flight back to Boston ( I could not go to Charlottesville as I would have missed my family event with a flight 24 hours later). After calling customer service, Denise, was able to refund all of my tickets. In addition, one delta employee at gate D03 at LGA (forgive me, I do not know his name) was so helpful and so wonderful, despite charging me for a flight back to Boston. The supervisor at gate D03 was extremely rude and nasty. He rolled his eyes at me, he threw his hands up and told me I was not a priority(mind you I was crying, very non threatening).Over all, Delta, I will continue flying with you because of your two employees who were so kind and helpful.Kindness can trump negativity!
