My flight from SFO TO MNL via PEK was OK. CA 985 was on the new Boeing 747-8i, but no WiFi on board? The crew was somewhat accommodating, although they tend to assume every " asian " on board is Chinese. The plane taxied with no warning and only 1 warning for take off. The cabin was a little dirty, finding strands of hair on my blanket and pillow. Connecting at PEK (Beijin) was THE WORST EVER!!! DO NOT FLY or take any connections at PEK!! you MUST get in line at the " International Transfers " once you reach the bottom floor, they combine it with the oncoming foot traffic from security. PLEASE be prepared to be trampled, stepped on, sneezed, cursed at in Chinese, also people cut in front of you adding an extra 10-15minutes to the wait. People have no sense of direction or manners here. LITERALLY. PEK to MNL was an Airbus 330- outdated aircraft and the crew turned off their onboard flight entertainment system, really? for a 4.5 hour flight?! MNL to PEK was a nightmare. I was seated next to a obese man who would not let me sleep throughout my flight. Air China crew needs to take more English classes and learn how to speak loud and clear on the PA system. I would NEVER EVER fly again
