Air India review by Cassim 2016-04-02

We travelled from Toronto via London to Delhi/Gauhati/ Mumbai and back to Toronto viaLondon by Air INdia. It was our worst travel experience. At Gauhati AI 0730 was delayed by 5 hours for technical reasons and almost missec our connection from Kolkata. From Mumbal AI 0131 delayed by 21/2 hrs. again for technical reasons. We missed our connection at London with Air Canada. These airlines claim to have Star Alliance but have no communication . We were given a hit at Air India counter for next days flight but Air Canada was not informed and had no such records. We senior citizens suffered so much inconvenience and another 8 hours wait at London airport. Does Air India care for its customers. Never again we will travel by Air India . Bathrooms during the flights were filthy and no one on Air India staff was bothered. Pathetic, What a traumatic journey. No one should have to go through such ordeal. Air India delays in flight is a norm and there is no consideration for commuters. May be Star Alliance should break off with Air India as it hurts its reputation.
