Air New Zealand review by Aaron 2015-09-27

First time in about 6 years flying Air NZ across the ditch from Sydney to Wellington. Very excited as I used to enjoy the service. Unfortunately the service and experience was not as I remembered both ways. It resembled a budget airline. We booked through Amex - no mention at booking that we had to select "The Works" package to receive movies and food. Given that we were on the 645pm flight to Wellington, we ended up arriving HUNGRY at 1240am. The snacks that u had to pay for were overpriced and horrible. As we did not know this before boarding we were very cranky. The crew did not care and were apathetic at best. Plane was dirty and cramped. I will never fly air New Zealand again until they reassess their service. We may as well have flown Jetstar.
