Economy Class

Being from the Netherlands, I have flown quite often with KLM. I regret to say that the airline quality has degraded over the past few years, and there are better airlines serving most routes with more satisfactory service. Personnel is very friendly and I acknowledge this. Catering-wise, KLM is very poor, serving just a slice of cake or a cheese sandwich. My biggest issue is that the plane food actually used to be okay, but got dialled down immensely. On the plus side, it is possible to order multiple alcoholic beverages free of charge. There is no in-flight entertainment, although this is not to be expected from a short haul flight. On most routes, there are better airlines available, and I would personally recommend spending a little more for a higher quality airline over KLM.
