The trip from Melbourne to KL at the start was choppy and turbulent but nontheless arrived on time. There were plenty of spare seats available so I was able to have all three seats to myself and have a good lie down. That was the only bonus. However, the food was atrocious and tasteless. On my first leg, I requested seafood in my pre online check-in but once onboard was told seafood was not available that day, I then asked for satay and was told this is only available to business class. I give up! My return trip was made worst by the taste of the water. It tasted like the perfume from the toilet. I told the air stewardess but she just shrugged it off, gave me a big eye look, took the water away but did not offer me other drink. When I asked for tonic water from another stewardess I was offered soda water instead. I finally managed to get the tonic water from another air stewardess.. A particular air steward also ignored me a couple of times when I asked him for water and peanuts. He just stopped and then walked off. Because of the lack of good customer service I would not be travelling with MAS any longer.
