1. I wasn't able to select a seat upon booking months in advance for a 15 hour international flight on one of their Boeing 747 aircraft. 2. The two Frankfurt boarding gate personnel were both rude and incompetent. I underwent their pre-boarding pass and passport check to at their request to facilitate boarding efficiency, and then afterwards, had to repeat the same process again. I detest inefficiency. 3. Once on board the aircraft, my assigned seat was cramped, with only 19 inches (48cm) of headroom space between the seat in front on my assigned seat. Having endured my worst airline flight experience, I will endeavour to avoid ever flying again on Lufthansa airlines.
