Round trip, New Orleans to Detroit and then back. Had to pay an additional $400.00 (50 per bag) on top of the $200+ each tickets. So twelve hundred to fly a family of four... Absolutely friggin ridiculous! Not to mention, I tried joining their "Spirit" club. It was supposed to save money on the baggage fees. They charged me another $70 and it wouldn't even let me apply it to my trip. So don't be fooled by their low ticket quotes. It's a scam!!! Go with ANY other airline, it's cheaper in the long run.
