Having flown with Singapore Airlines over the years and really enjoying their service, our last flight with them was rather disappointing as well as frustrating. Their meals were very average. I had the fish on the return flight and left half of it. My wife was the first to use the toilet and she said it smelt when she went in. Toilet floors were wet with, presumably urine, throughout the flight. They seem to have cut back on the number of flight stewards used to service passengers and the cabin to what they once had. Because our connecting flight was delayed by over an hour, we almost missed our flight for the home leg. Though delays happen of course, there was a lack of communication to passengers about what was happening. Due to the delayed flight our baggage didn’t arrive with our flight. Again, these things happen, but SI’s ground support contractors did not have a record of one of our pieces of luggage. It was a nightmare trying to communicate with the baggage contractors to find out what had happened to our missing luggage.
