We recently flew a number of internal flights with Air India and the airline was appalling, from the dirty cabins to the poor service. The icing on the cake was a 1.5 domestic flight delay, which caused us to miss our connecting international flight. We had asked a number of different Air India staff members to call our connecting airline, to advise of our delay, but they did not, so the flight left without us. We were only a few minutes late and the airline said they would have waited for us had someone called. We were stuck in Mumbai overnight, until the next flight out. What did Air India do about this? Absolutely nothing! They did not even offer to pay for food or accommodation. Abysmal airline, with abysmal service. Never again will we fly with them!
