Economy Class

Flight delays and lost luggage are no different at Spirit than any other airlines. The airlines don't want to be late and they don't want to lose your luggage. I'm a small person. So the fact that the seats don't recline do not seem to affect my comfort. For a 2.5ish hour flight from Detroit to Orlando, the position of the seat was just fine. The staff was friendly and the flight was smooth. The pilot communicated clearly. It is the nickle-diming that is a turn off. If you would like the same amenities of a Delta flight on a Spirit flight (little more leg room, free soft drinks, reclining seats, available entertainment), I'm not sure there is a cost savings. For any cost difference that may exist, I'd rather just pay the all-inclusive cost (if you will) with a Delta flight. For me flying alone, it was ok. If my husband and children where flying too, we'd have to go with a bigger airline.
