Philippine Airlines review by Mac 2016-01-06

Booked a ticket form an agent in Bahrain for ETIHAD airways with a connecting flight at Abudhabi. From Bahrain to Abudhabi, the aircraft was Etihad, but surprisingly, it was PAL Aircraft from Abudhabi to NAIA. All the while it was just operated by PAL, but it wasnt! So there i was walking inside the Plane and to my surprise, there where no TV monitors (entertainment). It was announced that anyone who wants entertainment can rent IPAD (rediculous idea! Who's idea was that!). But for anyone who has ipads or smartphone can use then in flight. I went to website and it shows that you need to download the apps first! So question, how can i download without internet,, ANSWER: Buy $5 per 30mins inflight! Please!!!! upgrade your aircrafts as we are paying in full. I could have booked in other aircrafts if i knew all of this from the beginning. Im sorry, im a Filipino and i will not fly with Philippine Airlines anymore! (food and crew are great but the plane itself is outdated). EDITORS COMMENT: How frustrating!!! that would make us so annoyed also!!
