Number of flights - and not one was great. Average at best. Only one flight attendant stood out, most were just ok (certainly not welcoming and pleasant like they used to be!!) Flew Premium Economy (although didn't even get the proper seats on one flight because they had overbooked! Offered a glass of champagne instead - not really acceptable when we had paid the premium) Another flight we had to ask for the premium headphones and mineral water (before they realised that we had actually purchased Works Deluxe!) The tap water they were serving tasted like it was full of chemicals - not even bottled water was offered despite this being brought to their attention... Got half a glass of coke (didn't even bother to leave the rest of the can) and don't even think about being offered a 2nd glass of anything! Basically, the list goes on and on - but in summary, the conclusion we have come to is that being Gold members means nothing now - and buying Works Deluxe is certainly a hit and miss as to whether you actually receive the added privileges you have paid for. Very disappointing, Air NZ (and for goodness sake, start employing people that actually look like they want to be at work!!!)
