I’ve flown with QA several times, and it’s normally quite OK. How ever, this time around I was seriously disappointed. I made my online check-in 36 hours before, choosing the seat I wanted for the 6 hour flight. My 2 preferences were; Sitting in the last row (a wall behind) and window next to me. I choose seat 36 A, perfect for me. At the airport the clerk by the bag drop prints me a new ticket, I realise that I have another seat nr on the ticket. He explains that he didn’t do the change, but that sometimes seats are changed if a couple is needed to be seated together. That I can comprehend, even though I was disappointed. But he assured me I have a window seat still. On the plane I take my new seat that has no window - I’m sitting right between 2 windows. When everybody’s seated in the plane, I look over to the seat I should have had (which is at the end of the plane with only 2 seats in that row) and a single man is sitting in there. I ask the cabin crew about this and the reason for why I was moved, and of course they couldn’t explain. Just said sorry, that they would make a note of it. Bad service. They haven't replied on e-mail about this.
