Air Transat review by Paul 2014-10-26

My wife and l just returned from our first cruise. We booked through Marlin travel (Air Transat) partially due to the hype around their recently acquired 737s. Big mistake. We were on the same plane both to and from fll from yyz. Fleet 802. Broken or loose trim. The left side of 2a ahead of me was missing a piece of trim exposing mechanical and wires. Dirty and my left knee got dirty. Loose trim above 2h between the bins and the wall. Toilet seat brooken in halk. I reported this to the flight attendants. Head set jack didnt work properly. On the way home, toilet seat held together with what appeared to be white medical tape. NOT replaced. Entertainment system didnt work. No movie. Trim still missing, loose. The flight attendants failed to conduct pre take off and landing inspections of seat backs up, trays up, seat belts on and luggage stowed under the seats. I thought this was an FAA regulation. Terrible plane and flight attendants.
