Iberia and Iberia Express review by Josef 2014-04-08

Neither recommendable nor for flights inside Europe nor beyond Europe. Inside Europe Iberia makes use of aircrafts called "Iberia Express" which have very, very limited space for your legs (if you are longer than 6 feet, you will feel extremely pinned). Beyond Europe (I flew to Senegal) it is the poor service level that shall chase customers away. Especially during night flights one should be very cautious: the aircraft landed without prior information on the Canary Islands, passengers had to disembark from the aircraft (at 2:30 a.m.!), wait on the tarmac, embark again after having waited for 90 minutes. In-flight service is not existing. If you don't speak Spanish, you are lost. Most passengers were from Senegal and were treated so harshly that I felt twice compelled to intervene. Though making already big losses, this airline should simply disappear!
