I would not take Frontier again under any condition until they reconfigure the cabin. First of all, the seats are so close and so tight that you could not get into a crash position in the event of a crash landing. Second, the aluminum tray tables are not secure and the edge facing you is sharp. These flop down at the slightest jolt and could cut you in half if the plane were to land hard. I think that this configuration of the seats and tray table do not meet FAA guidelines for safety. This is a hazard, but Frontier doesn’t care as long as they can squeeze in another seat.
The carry-on bag fees are a total rip-off. The checked bag fees are a rip off. They don’t even give you a cup of coffee!. This airline will nickle and dime you all the way. It’s a bad experience even if you are used to bad experiences.
