easyJet review by Jordan 2014-06-22

LONG story short: due to a broken entrance from the train to the airport, I arrived at baggage dropoff about 40 minutes before the flight. While the girl was taking our baggage (and chatting it up with her coworkers), she randomly looked at her watch and said “gate just closed”. After 3 hours of arguing and getting nowhere, the supervisor tells me I should go to Delta and buy a whole new international flight back to the US because the only other flight EasyJet had to my connection was 8 hours later and I would have missed my connecting flight. They also refused to reimburse me for the flight I missed (even though it wasn’t my fault). Thankfully I went to AerLingus and they simply transferred me to another flight and I made my connecting flight to the states afterall (free of additional charge). So basically if I had listened to EasyJet and bought a whole new international flight from Delta, I’d be roughly 3000 dollars in the hole. Thanks for the help EasyJet. WORST airline I’ve ever experienced. DO NOT FLY WITH EASYJET.
