An Ethiopian Airlines’ 777F freighter has caught fire at Shanghai’s Pudong Airport.
The incident is almost identical to another fire on an Ethiopian 787 aircarft at Heathrow in 2013 which was caused by a runaway battery.
The first on the 777 freighter started on the main freight deck and has spread into the ceiling or crown of the jet.
There are no reports of injuries.
Here is a video circulating on Chinese social media of the burning @flyethiopian 777F at Shanghai Pudong Airport. It's most definitely a hull loss at this point. #BreakingNews #AvGeek pic.twitter.com/FN98d6QNrJ
