While it does, in part, resemble the sewerage system tanks from a 777 (below) that system uses a composite structure not metal.
It is understood that the object is likely a fuel tank from a rocket. According to aerospace engineer Richard Godfrey “At first sight, it appears to be a remnant from a rocket launcher from one of Australia’s four operational rocket launch sites.”
