Qantas Chairman Richard Goyder, one of the most respected business leaders in Australia, has defended his position and says he has the conference of the board and the majority of shareholders.
He told the ABC that "the majority shareholders" supported his position as Chairman of the board.
He agreed that mistakes were made but that compared to airlines around the world during the COVID Qantas had done pretty well.
