The revelation comes from a presentation by co-founders of the Center for Humane Technology Co-Founders Tristan Harris and Aza Raskin about the AI Dilemma.

Mr Raskin says: "Suddenly AI has turned every Wi-Fi router into a camera that can work in the dark, specially tuned for tracking living beings."

The reference to the tracking of disturbances to WiFi signals is at the 20-minute mark of the video below.

Radio signals can be used from the local level (WiFi) to the global level (WSPRnet) to track anything from human beings to aircraft, in fact, anything that disturbs radio waves propagating.

British aerospace engineer Richard Godfrey has, over the past two years, refined tools to tap WSPR (Weak Signal Propagation Reporter) to track MH370 from its last known civilian radar position.
