SWISS International has released a superb video (below) of one of its A330s taking part in a formation demonstration at the recent AIR14 air show in Payerne Switzerland.
Almost 400,000 visitors were treated to some spectacular flying over the two weekends of the air show in August and September.
This year’s show celebrated 100 years of Swiss military aviation, 50 years of Patrouille Suisse and 25 years of the PC-7 TEAM. Patrouille Suisse and PC-7 TEAM are aerobatics teams.
Visitors witnessed a magnificent air show that included; the Al-Fursan aerobatics team from the United Arab Emirates; the Frecce Tricolori; the Red Arrows; the Rafale; Eurofighter; Boeing B-17 and the A380 Airbus.
The SWISS International A330 formation demonstration involved nine pilots – 6 Patrouille Suisse aerobatic pilots flying their F-5E Tiger 11s and three SWISS International pilots in the A330.
