Qantas is set to unveil a fresh onboard safety video that showcases frontline team members and Frequent Flyers guiding viewers through essential safety information, all while exploring distinctive destinations in Australia and across the globe.

This new video marks the replacement of the Qantas Centenary-themed video that has been in rotation since 2020. Emphasizing safety as the top priority within the Qantas Group, Chief Customer Officer Catriona Larritt highlights the critical role the inflight video, in collaboration with the Cabin Crew, plays in capturing travelers' attention to absorb vital information.

The 2024 video features Qantas pilots, cabin crew, customer service agents, and Frequent Flyers sharing safety information from their favorite destinations, ranging from Litchfield National Park to Lapland.

Larritt stated, "Primarily, the video aims to acquaint our customers with safety procedures, making it as engaging as possible, especially for frequent flyers who might otherwise disengage."

"We take pride in featuring our well-traveled team members and customers, delivering not only the safety message but also promoting travel and tourism by inspiring people to explore diverse destinations throughout Australia and beyond," Larritt added.

The rollout of the video begins this week on Qantas flights, with 75 versions available in 12 different languages. Filmed across 14 destinations over 40 days, the video captures the unique charm of locations spanning from the freezing temperatures of Lapland, Finland (-36 degrees) to the warmth of Jaipur, India (36 degrees).

Featured destinations include Litchfield National Park, Milford Sound, Los Angeles, Cabo San Lucas, Ningaloo Reef, Jaipur, Freycinet, Lapland, Seoul, Marrakesh, Rome, Paris, Sydney, and Noosa.
