AirlineRatings.com has sourced some amazing footage of a fleet of twin-engine Let-410 aircraft landing on a remote road in the jungle of Democratic Republic of Congo in Africa.

After discharging the cargo the planes are physically turned around on the road for the take-off, which is captured in the video.

The 19-passenger Let L-410 Turbolet is a twin-engine short-range aircraft, manufactured by the Czech aircraft manufacturer LET.

It is used for both passengers and cargo. Since 1969, more than 1100 have been built.

The Let-410 has made a name for itself on the continent of Africa with its remarkable performance into short runways and ability to operate under extreme climatic conditions.

It can also take-off from gravel and grass runways.

The aircraft is very rugged- essential for these types of operations.
